Changing Expectations
»A new report finds the main problem in getting the public to deal with our fiscal problems isn't opposition to tax increases or spending cuts -- it's their lack of trust in the government to spend their money wisely. |
Detroit Public School
If Mr. Concord's really takes on reviewing the budget resolution, I salute him. Well its not as easy as you think especially when it comes for the all human sakes. Education as we all know will benefited by the budget resolution. And recently, the Detroit Public Schools are in trouble. The Detroit Public Schools system has had cash flow problems for years. It has been getting progressively worse, with more and more children leaving to charter schools every year. The state decided to give Detroit school districts a $70 million cash advance so they can meet expenses and pay their teachers. The newly appointed emergency financial manager, whom to be Robert Bobb, requested the funds early in order for him to get the house in order before he had to start panicking. President Obama has been giving out large sums of money for troubled school districts, perhaps that’s where a generous portion of the aid came from. Getting Detroit Public Schools in working order is a worthy cause. Well that what we call budget for a cause.
